From Bologna to TAORMINA - CONTINUE ON GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The States-General on the Mal-treatment to children in Italy, promoted by CISMAI, were opened by the Bologna seminar on 19 May, dedicated to the prevention of ill-treatment.

The meeting, attended by 220 operators, it was very packed with information both in the plenary, in particular, during the participatory focus groups, where the wealth of experience of operators CISMAI, enriched by the testimony of many practitioners and professionals from public and private centers, has allowed us to collect many interesting work on prevention, which will be reported in the final document of the seminar and which will soon be distributed on this list to all members. After this first event that has reached all the objectives we set ourselves, our work focuses of the seminar Taormina, for which registrations are open (for those who still had not done so) until June 12, 2009 . CISMAI SEMINAR - Bologna May 19, 2009 - INTRODUCTION TO THE MANUAL

On the first day of the convention on the ill-treatment in Childhood Italy, scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2009 in Bologna, will present the official Italian translation of the manual of the World Health Organization dedicated to the prevention of child maltreatment.

volume, entitled Preventing child maltreatment: operational guidelines and analysis tools , was released in 2006 through the collaboration of ISPCAN of which is CISMAI national partner for Italy, and offers guidelines and WHO and tools for the implementation of effective prevention programs.

The Italian edition, on an impulse born CISMAI and coordinated by dr. Andrea Pinna, CISMAI National Council, was made possible through a network of collaboration between the Emilia Romagna Region, Province and Municipality of Ferrara, University of Ferrara, Ferrara and ASL CISMAI.
